ChargePanel AB (publ) and Arval AS have entered into a comprehensive agreement and can now offer a complete solution for electric vehicle charging to Arval’s leasing customers in Norway. Together, Arval Norway, one of the leading players in full-service leasing and mobility solutions, and ChargePanel AB, a provider of charging network services, will deliver a unique service for charging on the road, at home and in the office to the Norwegian market.
In connection with this collaboration, Arval Energy is being launched, a complete charging solution and a tailored user experience for electric vehicle charging. Arval’s customers will have access to a national and global network of public charging stations and can connect both office and home chargers to the service. This means that customers can collect all administration and billing related to charging on one and the same platform.
“As an international provider of mobility and operational leasing solutions, we want to support our customers on their journey towards energy transition. In Norway, 60% of our orders so far this year are electric vehicles, and thanks to our new partnership with ChargePanel, we can now deliver a complete charging service tailored to a wide range of customer needs,” says Stian Laurin Eriksen, Commercial Director, Arval AS.
With a total of approximately 5,500 vehicles in Arval Norway’s fleet, approx. 3,000 electric vehicles will be able to connect to the service.
“We are very proud that Arval Norway has chosen ChargePanel as a strategic partner in its investment for electrification, and that our partnership with Arval continues to grow in the Nordics. For us, it is a stamp of quality that a major international player chooses us. It confirms the strength of our platform and marks our entry into a new and rapidly growing segment of the leasing market,” says Peter Persson, CEO ChargePanel AB.
In June this year, ChargePanel signed an agreement with Arval Sweden, which finances approximately 13,000 cars, of which 8,000 are electrified and will be able to connect to the service. An agreement with Arval Finland was signed earlier in October, which finances approximately 10,000 cars, of which 5,000 are electrified and will be able to connect to the service. This is in line with Arval and ChargePanel’s shared goal of accelerating electrification, and the parties have ambitions to expand the collaboration to other Nordic countries.
