The purpose of the integration is to enable customers to report their public charging stations to NOBIL via ChargePanel’s platform and thereby create a user-friendly and efficient charging experience. NOBIL is a Nordic database that contains detailed information about charging stations in the Nordics and receives and distributes real-time data. NOBIL acts as an open database, where owners of charging stations voluntarily submit data to ensure accuracy and availability.
The Swedish Energy Agency (Energimyndigheten) is responsible for Sweden’s charging station data in the Nordic database NOBIL. The application process to receive grants and subsidies for public charging stations may require that charging stations are connected to NOBIL’s database. By implementing a connection to NOBIL, ChargePanel supports our customers to meet these requirements.
With readiness to handle data from other Nordic countries, NOBIL plays a crucial role in facilitating smooth charging experiences for users across the region.
