ChargePanel AB (publ) (“ChargePanel”) announces that Laser Imports Limited (“Laser Imports”) has today signed an agreement regarding electric vehicle charging in the geographic market, New Zealand. The agreement means that Laser Imports signs a license for ChargePanel’s subscription service, Enterprise. In addition, Laser Imports will use ChargePanel’s Fleet Management functionality for managing customer fleets. Laser Imports is a leading player in E-mobility in New Zealand and provides sales, installation, and commissioning of charging infrastructure.
Founded in 2005, Laser Imports focuses on serving areas in need of connected charging stations and largely has a customer base that includes residential and commercial businesses in New Zealand. Laser Imports operates under the Smart EV Chargers brand and will use ChargePanel’s enterprise solution to enable smooth and efficient operation of its charging stations. They aim to have around 1,000 connected outlets by the end of 2024 and will also leverage ChargePanel’s Fleet Management solutions to support corporate customers with company cars. The newly signed agreement covers the New Zealand geographic market and represents a completely new market for ChargePanel. Discussions between ChargePanel and Laser Imports began in October and have progressed rapidly. ChargePanel plans to carry out the onboarding process in early December to ensure that the customer can be up and running before the end of the year.
